Below are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) related to TotalPicture Radio and this website.
How do I listen to Podcasts on this Website?
To Stream Podcasts
To Download Podcast MP3s
We have provided a link to download the sound file as an mp3 directly below each podcasts' player. Once downloaded, you should be able to open the file and listen to the interview using your default media player.
Note: If you are using your computer at work or behind a proxy and unable to download the mp3 files, it could be that the System Administrator has blocked the ability to directly download files to your computer for security purposes. This may also be true for Flash files in some situations. See the FAQ item for additional ways to access TotalPicture Radio podcast interviews.
Where else can I download Podcasts?
Our podcasts can also be found on a number of podcast aggregation sites and apps such as Stitcher. If you have a favorite site you use for listening to podcasts and can't find TotalPicture Radio, please send us a request using our contact page and we will look into adding it to the service.
Note: With the popularity of podcasts and the proliferation of podcasting sites it's difficult to keep track of all of them. Therefore, if you discover a link on a another site which is not working correctly, it is best to notify the administrators of that website. Since iTunes is by far the most popular and reliable method for connecting with TPR, we encourage you to create an iTunes account (if you do not already have one) and subscribe to TotalPicture Radio. Doing this will ensure that you always have the most up-to-date TotalPicture Radio podcast programs available where and when you want them!
What happened to all the Podcast 'Comments' on Interviews?
Unfortunately all of the existing comments made to interviews prior to the release of our new site (December 2011) were unable to be migrated into the commenting system. The new Comment system, powered by DISQUS, provides more user features, improved administrative options, and better controls in the prevention of spambots/comment spam.
Currently, you do not need to log in to post a comment. However, we encourage you to do so, by using your DISQUS, Facebook, Twitter OpenID, or Yahoo ID, which adds the benefit of allowing you to manage any comments which you have made on any website using DISQUS. Additionally, we encourage you to post comments on TotalPicture Radio's Facebook Group.
We value your comments and suggestions, and would love to hear from you!
