A Candid Conversation with Sharon Allen
Sharon L. Allen is Chairman of the US Board of Directors of Deloitte & Touche. In this position, she leads the firm's governance process, serves as the US representative on the organization's Global Governance Committee, Chairs the firm's Global Risk Management Committee, and oversees the firm's relationships with a number of major multinational clients. She is the first woman elected as board chair, and as such, becomes the highest ranking woman in the firm's history. Landed.fm interviewed Ms. Allen at the Linkage Women in Leadership Summit, where she participated in a Keynote panel titled "Cracking the Code, Facing the Alarming Gender Gap in Corporate America."

Sharon is a Director for The Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and a member of The Women's Leadership Board at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
She has received numerous awards for her business and community leadership, including selection as a Woman of the Year for the New York City Police Athletic League, one of the 50 Women to Watch by Wall St. Journal, and an honorary doctorate in Administrative Science from her alma mater, the University of Idaho.
