Does Everyone Hate Their Jobs?

According to the stats and articles we continue to see, just about everyone is ready for a new job. Louise Fletcher of Blue Sky Resumes, sites an article in her blog titled "Bidding Farewell to That Miserable Job," written by Mary Ellen Slayter in the Washington Post "Career Track" series.

Is this an Epidemic? The Washington Post article one of many we've seen in recent months.

In February, the Conference Board issued a report that said "Americans are growing increasingly unhappy with their jobs... The decline in job satisfaction is widespread among workers of all ages and across all income brackets." We'll have an interview with Lynn Franco, the author of the report on totalpicture.com this Wednesday.

Last fall, ExecuNet found: "According to the survey of 406 employed executives, 62% are not satisfied with their current job. Of those who are not satisfied, 97% plan to change jobs in the next six months.

Isn't that like, everybody?
