Karen Russo, CEO and Chief Talent Officer, K. Russo Associates
Executive search firms used to be classified as "retained" or "contingent." Although those models still exist, you can put them in the blender and add "professional contract" to the mix. Founded in 1996, K. Russo Associates is a boutique, niche executive search organization focusing on the human resources and public relations professions. The average retention of their placements exceeds three years and the firm maintains a 70% retention rate within client organizations. In our Landed.fm interview Karen talks candidly about the changes taking place in the search industry, and how to get noticed. One thing hasn't changed: Executive search firms search for the best - the A players.
