In 2003, Andrea Jung was featured on the cover of BusinessWeek as one of the best managers of the year. She was named CEO of Avon Products, Inc. in November 1999 and elected chairman in September 2001.Since then she has led the successful transformation of Avon by defining its vision as “the company for women�.

After a successful career in retail, including Bloomingdale’s, I.Magnin and Neiman Marcus, Ms.Jung joined Avon in January 1994 as President of the Product Marketing Group. In 1996,she was promoted to President of Global Marketing; a year later, to Executive Vice President and President of Global Marketing and New Business, and after that to COO.

A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University,she is the first woman to be elected chair of the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association.She is also on the Board of Directors of General Electric and Catalyst.
