About Jim Tusty

James Tusty is President and founder of Mountain View Group, Ltd., a full service communications company with global expertise. In addition to providing strategic corporate communications, Mountain View has produced hundreds of films, broadcast programs, television commercials, and interactive programs since its founding in 1981.

Throughout his career, Jim has developed an international reputation in the industry, and has worked in all aspects of film production including producing and directing. His films have been recognized with over 100 national and international awards.

In addition, he also has worked in several former Soviet states on free market educational projects. Immediately after the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact, he produced a fifteen-part television series on the free market for Hungarian television. He has also produced multiple projects in Russia. He has taught several filmmaking courses at a university in Estonia.

Jim has served on the board of several start-up companies, helping take some of them public. He is a founding board member of Craftsman & Scribe's Creative Workshop, Inc. (C&S), a producer of children's television programming. C&S currently has two national programs on the Learning Channel, Pappyland and Skinnamarink. Currently, he is President of The International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers, past-President of the NYC Chapter of Media Communications Association International, and a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He also serves on numerous non-profit boards.
