Ohio native Rick Myers began his career in advertising as a copywriter, working in several mid-sized regional agencies before relocating to Atlanta to attend Portfolio Center. As Founder and CEO of Talent Zoo, Rick has changed the complexion of the advertising industry, working as a consultant with some of the most regarded agencies to build award-winning teams. His passion for the industry and the people in it continue to drive him to improve it.
Rick serves on the boards of several industry organizations, including Creative Circus, The One Show, OTHERS. An obsessive reader with a fascination for emerging trends in media, Rick continues to blaze new trails with the company he has founded.
Amy Hoover
Amy Hoover is Executive Vice President of Talent Zoo, North America’s premiere search and recruitment firm specializing in the advertising and marketing fields. With over 10 years of experience in search and recruitment, Amy has filled positions for every advertising and marketing discipline and for agencies and advertisers of every size. Today Amy oversees an executive recruiting staff of sixteen as well as a niche online job board, and is responsible for over 1,000 searches a year.
An expert on hiring trends and staffing issues, Amy is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Adweek, Advertising Age, and many other notable publications. In addition, Amy counsels CEO's and Human Resources Directors on ways to improve employee recruiting and retention, and has been a speaker on numerous panels covering recruitment topics, most recently the AAAA's National Media Conference.
