About Lawler Kang
Living on Boston's North Shore, Lawler is married, and has two hooligans. When not acting as a human jungle gym, he leads LK Ventures’ activities, serves as a Principal in the boutique executive placement firm Libertas Group and consults to a pioneering non-profit bio-tech firm called LineaGen. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Adirondack Camp, an extraordinary summer camp on Lake George, NY. He speaks versions of French and Japanese, loves to travel, surf, and ski, and lusts to have time for bridge.

Lawler's mission is to constructively rock the boat by helping others rock theirs. This mission thread has wheedled its way through the fabric of his life for as far back as he can remember. This thread was also tested and strengthened by a cerebral aneurysm at 14 (which left him in an absolute mess) and three major abdominal procedures before 21.

Lawler has experientially released his passions in some interesting ways: attending Vassar College and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, living for five years in Venice Beach, CA, strategy consulting, start-ups, helping a foreign firm enter the US market and most recently, corporate turnarounds.
