Sedlar has over 20 years of experience in the consumer marketing and professional services arena. As the former Editor-at-Large of Working Woman magazine, she motivated audiences into recognizing and eliminating the physical and psychological issues that are perceived barriers to their success. She also served as Director of Corporate Affairs for the Working Woman/Working Mother Group, where she worked such key issues as work/life balance, female entrepreneurship, and flextime in conjunction with the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Labor. Sedlar has been interviewed for NBC’s Today show and Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and is frequently quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest, and Bottom Line Personal. Sedlar sits on the board of several non-profit organizations and is only the second woman to sit on the board of the USS Intrepid Sea*Air*Space Museum.
