(I hadn't). Everyone working in HR and recruiting knows RD, (no last name needed). He was the leader of Kennedy Information's Recruiting and Career Media Group. RD recently joined The Tarsus Group, and is responsible for the expansion of Caroo Media USA, a rapidly growing division of the Tarsus Group with a portfolio of b2b exhibitions, conferences, publishing and online media properties across multiple global industries. As CEO of Caroo Media, RD is currently orchestrating the expansion of Onrec in North America, and joins us with an update on the Onrec Conference.

As we know, there are many HR and recruiting conferences -- what makes Onrec unique?
Applicant tracking systems are "the curse" to most job hunters. Have they gotten any better? Are real, live human beings involved in any of the early stages of recruiting anymore?
Given the global nature of Onrec and Caroo Media, what do you see as the benefit of bringing people together globally around the issue of online recruiting?

Most recently, RD was Vice President of Kennedy Information's Recruiting & Career Media Group, with responsibility for the group's online portal, ecommerce products, newsletters, books, online directories, research, exhibitions, conferences, and membership communities for corporate recruiters, executive recruiters, online recruiting providers, career management professionals and executive job seekers.
RD is an accomplished publishing and media entrepreneur. Through his 18-year career, he has become an expert developing online and offline communities that bring buyers and sellers together, and has deep knowledge and a solid track record of success in developing paid content business publishing models. In summary, RD has an impressive track record of building, leveraging, growing and acquiring specialty business publishing and media assets to maximize value for investors. RD holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communications from Bentley College and a MBA from Fitchburg State College, both in Massachusetts. He is active in the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA), and he currently lives in Southern NH / the Greater Boston Area.
