David Henderson Biography:

David is a veteran communications strategist, author, Emmy Award winning former CBS Network News correspondent, and adjunct professor. Based in Washington, D.C., he lectures and leads workshops globally on effective communications through the mainstream and Web 2.0 media.

David is a recognized authority on media trends and today’s dynamic convergence of mainstream media with New Media and the digital revolution driven by Web 2.0. He advises companies and organizations on digital online strategies and methods for achieving greater impact through comprehensive strategic communications plans. He has managed strategic and media initiatives around the world, has established a vast network of collaborative resources in public relations and the media and is experienced at effective communications in brand development and in support of litigation and crisis management.

David’s new book - The Media Savvy Leader - is scheduled for release in January 2009, published by Robert D. Reed Publishers. The Media Savvy Leader profiles some of today’s most recognized executives who know the competitive importance of personally taking change of communicating the vision, brand, and reputation of their organizations … and their own value, as leaders.
