eMarketer estimates that there was a 285% increase in size of the US podcast audience in 2007, a growth to 18.5 million. Furthermore, that audience will increase to 65 million in 2012. Of those listeners, 25 million will be "active" users who tune in at least once a week. Based in New York City, eMarketer conducts market research and trend analysis on Internet, e-business, online marketing, media and emerging technologies. Joining us for a special online savvy edition of TPR is the author of the eMarketer podcast report, Paul Verna. Clayton learned when USV was looking to hire a new analyst, they decided to blog about the position, and rather than asking for a traditional resume here's what Brad wrote on the company's blog:
