Jason's LinkedIn Profile
I am passionate about all things related to personal career management, from understanding the job search and career management environment to knowing what professionals could do to create some kind of job security.

My background is in web-based applications. Having lucked out with an internship at Simplot and working under an amazing visionary, to being the first IT manager of a medium-sized building maintenance company, I've always gravitated towards providing real, practical solutions in a web interface.

I got laid off in January of 2006 and started a job search, confident I would find something better than my last role. My job search was a mess, and I didn't get anywhere, except frustrated.

I realized there was a huge gap between what was needed by professionals managing their careers and what was available to us. This is where JibberJobber was born, and I've been CEO since then.

I am not a certified career professional, job search coach, career coach, career counselor, resume writer, or anything else that would tell you I'm qualified to help you one-on-one. I'm one of you - a professional who wants to provide for my family. I combined my Internet application background with a real-world need, and provide technology to professionals who are career oriented.

Since I started JibberJobber I've had to become something of a marketer, and really enjoy all that I've learned and done to bring JibberJobber out. From blogging to writing articles to authoring two books (I'm on LinkedIn -- Now What??? and coauthor of I'm on Facebook -- Now What???), I've learned a ton about marketing. I now share what I've learned in speeches and workshops across the country.
