In the late '90s, he conceived, designed, and built the first Web-based talent management system at HireSystems/BrassRing. The #truCollegeRecruiter NYC conference was hosted on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Times Square, New York headquarters of EY (formerly Ernst & Young) and organized by CollegeRecruiter.com niche job board and #tru recruiting event planners. Peter Clayton from TotalPicture Radio produced the livestream and the video shown here. The livestream was sponsored by WCN Campus.

The conference brought together about 100 hiring managers, recruiters, and other human resource professionals who wanted to share best practices and learn from each other about how to more efficiently and effectively hire and manage college and university students and recent graduates.

Gerry Crispin is the co-founder of CareerXroads, a small, international consulting practice which facilitates a dialogue between corporate staffing leaders through small-group invitation-only peer-to-peer meetings (CareerXroads' Colloquium) throughout the year. Their aspiration is to contribute to a growing community of recruiting professionals who are dedicated to improving their business' long-term performance through the staffing function.
