"We don't take demo meetings. I only meet with the CEO's and founders of HR Tech companies." Sjoerd Gehring, Global VP of Talent Acquisition and People Experience at Johnson & Johnson.

Welcome to Episode 12 of the HR Tech Collaboration News Podcast. The three C's have no interest in alleged wizards behind curtains. We like collaboration, partnerships, community and opportunity.

We like conference producers focused on knowledge, and sharing. Conference Producers like UNLEASH, who spend the money and do it right. Who limit the number of exhibitors to a reasonable number, based on the number of attendees. We like conference producers like SourceCon, ERE, and TAtech, who sweat the details and care about quality.

Welcome boys and girls! Practitioners, HR Directors, analysts, talent acquisition specialists, coders, Investors, HR Tech geeks, innovators, incubators, recruiters, sourcers, angels, VCs, vendors, chatbots, startups, exhibitors, conference producers, optimists, pessimists, and a special shout-out to Sjoerd Gehring, Global VP of Talent Acquisition and People Experience at Johnson & Johnson, the opening keynote at the CandE Workshop at J&J in NJ. Hey the host get's top billing, but I was there and this was very well deserved. Stay tuned to hear about the Shine talent acquisition project at J&J. How good is it? In less than a year they've increased their NPS (Net Promoter Scores) by 30%, that's huge! This is a company that gets more than 1.5 million job applications a year. By the way, on the collaboration front they partnered with the Muse and Jibe to develop Shine.Sjoerd Gehring, Global VP of Talent Acquisition and People Experience at Johnson and Johnson.

More on that in a little while. And one more shoutout - to forward-thinking event sponsors, without companies willing to sponsor the conferences and events we enjoy every year would not happen.

Once again friends you've run head-on into Episode 12 of the HR Tech Collaboration News Podcast, AKA BBOP (Build Buy or Partner?) Featuring the 3 C's: Larry Cummings, Ward Christman, and me, your host and podcast protagonist, Peter Clayton.

Last week the three C's (Larry Cummings, Ward Christman, and Peter Clayton), were in Toronto for HR Tech Summit, produced by Key Media. We have lots of interesting updates and tidbits to report. The Collaboration Zone at the HR Tech Summit hosted by Larry and Ward and sponsored by HR Tech Alliance was humming - and I'll let you in on a little secret - there were a couple of roundtable discussions organized by Brad Sutton from GSV (Global Silicon Valley), featuring Sarah Brenner and William Tincup - and the conversation centered around how HR tech Startups can work with influencers and analysts. It was amazing conversation. And later this week I will have the three of them on the TotalPicture Podcast for a repeat performance. You won't want to miss it. If you know Sarah and you know William you know it will be no holds barred, no punches pulled, and no bullshit. Would you like a preview? Here's an audio excerpt from a Skype video with Sarah I produced prior to the conference.
