"We haven't created an infographic for Collaboration Zone. But we were looking at some of the statistics from it -- if you look in and go to an average trade show and you're on the expo floor you're going to come back with, let's say, 50 cards. There's only 10 of those that were really good meetings. Why couldn't we have a way of knowing that we just need to bring 10 cards and have 10 meetings and then to literally throw away 40 because it was, "What do you do? Well this is what I do. What do you do?" So the pre-planning is necessary when you have a show that has close to 700 actual vendors. There is no way that you can even go to a single category and get around to those shows, so there has to be some research."

"Another thing that would appear on that infographic would be for Collaboration Zone and what we do at shows we average probably 60 to 100 hours just our staff preparing the information to update our CRM. It's not unusual for like SHRM Last year, there were 142 new vendors that had never been exhibiting at that show. And Ward along with Steve and the our friends Social Rhonda [Taylor] and Mark [Willaman] from HRmarketer the five of us, we we basically interviewed all 142 of them and took a picture and tweeted about it. So we were part of the SHRM Blog Squad. That was a lot of time spent and I think I could speak for Ward. We enjoyed meeting new people but for us to really accomplish things we need to have those not the 15 minute meetings that were part of the show in Vegas last week but more significant like 20 minute meetings or 30 minute meetings which is what we suggest that these collaboration zones so and if he could be with groups where you are rejecting a third of the meetings because they haven't proved the value are you reject that third of the meeting or sales people trying to sell you something that you know you don't need. And they don't need to waste your time or their time on. That's what a collaboration infographic would look like is how much time saved. If we only meet with people that there is a really an opportunity to get to past that that that first base."
